Shock Wave Therapy

Shock wave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that involves delivery of a series of high energy acoustic wave (it is sound wave, not shock electricity) to injured soft tissues to reduce pain and promote healing. It is an effective solution to treat most musculoskeletal conditions, primarily those involving soft tissues such as ligaments, muscles and tendons, which may include:

Back pain- Lumbar & cervical spine, sciatic nerve pain & muscular adhesions. Shoulder- Rotator cuff muscles. Elbow- Tennis & golfer’s elbow. Hip- Bursitis. Upper leg- Iliotibial band syndrome. Lower leg- Shin splints and calf strain. Knee- Patella tendonitis.

Shock wave has been shown successful results in several scientific studies, especially for the treatment of chronic conditions.
